Lonny Bowers
President - Sales & Marketing

Lonny Bowers is a co-founder of WideBand Solutions, Inc. Lonny has thirteen years experience providing Enterprise teleconferencing solutions and maintains relationships with major manufacturers, resellers and Fortune 500 firms. He has twenty one years experience with professional audio starting part time after school assembling speakers at Bozak, Inc.

Lonny attended Northeastern University in Boston, MA where he studied marketing. He started his professional career at Gap, Inc. where he entered the management program the first six months of hire. Additional responsibilities on a region level included training and loss prevention.

Lonny continued his career as a Regional Sales Manager for TAI Industries in 1994. Responsibilities for TAI included channel development and product management. In 1995 he co-founded Conference Technology Group with an asset purchase of TAI. He played a key role in product design, development, strategic relationships, OEM solution sales and marketing for CTG. Lonny is trained as an application engineer and holds certifications with several professional audio and videoconferencing component manufacturers.

Lonny's focus in WideBand is on the company's direction, sales and product development. In addition to these responsibilities he is an instructor for InfoComm International.


Andrew Chiang
Vice President - Finance, Manufacturing, Operations

Andrew Chiang is a co-founder of WideBand Solutions, Inc. He is a seasoned professional with more than 20 years of experience in the high-tech industry. Prior to joining WideBand, Mr. Chiang was the board member of U-Know Software Inc. He also co-founded ClearOne, Inc., a teleconferencing company in 1997. He was the President and Chief Operating Officer and responsible for developing the state of the art audio and video conferencing products. He successfully raised private capital, established the manufacturing facility and set up distribution channels for those products. Prior to ClearOne, Andrew has held several engineering and IS management positions including VP Engineering for Digital Communications in New Jersey, Director of MIS for Worldcom/LDDS and R&D group manager for GTE Telecommunications in Taiwan. Andrew has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Louisville.


Jun Yang
CTO - Engineering, Product Development, Research and Development

Jun Yang is a co-founder of WideBand Solutions, Inc. Jun received his BSEE degree from Fudan University, Shanghai, China, in 1986, MSEE and Ph.D. from Nagoya University, Nagoya, Japan, in 1992 and 1995. He worked as an engineer on hardware design and communication for Shanghai Mechanical & Electrical Institute, Shanghai, China, from 1986 to 1988. In Japan, while he was a graduate school student, he worked as a principal hardware and software engineer for Shouei Electronic Research Institute, Nagoya, Japan, from 1988 to 1993. He was a consultant for Research & Analyze Organization, Urao Ltd., Nagoya, Japan from 1993 to 1994. He joined The Institute of Physical and Chemical Research, Nagoya, Japan, as a researcher from 1995.

Jun became an IEEE member in 1995 and has been working on R&D of conferencing equipment for 5 years with more than 15 years experience on hardware, software and system design. ClearOne, Inc., a startup company located in Woburn, MA, invited Jun to join as a principal engineer in 1998 adding expertise in video & audio digital signal processing. ClearOne was acquired by Gentner Communications where he continued as a principal engineer from 2000 to 2001. He joined 3DSP as a principal engineer in 2001 working on R&D of telcom software. Additional strengths exist in mathematics, physics, DSP algorithm background, hardware & software R&D and telecommunication industry experience.

He has designed and developed different communication systems, electronic measuring equipments, varying computer interfaces and DSP algorithms. He has published more than 30 papers on academic journals and conferences. He has been honored two industry awards.


David Sullivan
Technology Manager - Sales Support, Product Management, Major Account Support

David joined WideBand Solutions in June 2006. David brings 20 years of experience in network infrastructure design, deployment and management to WideBand Solutions. This experience has been applied in the audiovisual industry for the last 12 years and has resulted in a number of accomplishments in the audiovisual industry. Between 1995 and 2001 David was Director of Information Technology for AV Associates, an award winning audiovisual integrator which was located in Storrs, CT. In this capacity, David was the infrastructure architect and project manager for the deployment of one of the first centralized audiovisual network operations centers in Strongsville, OH in 2001 for MCSi. Between 2002 and 2006 David was Director of the Advanced Technology Group at Telaid Industries. David was network architect and project manager for deployment of primary communications systems related to regional Homeland Defense initiatives including one of the largest metropolitan video communications deployments in the United States.


Mark Zenick
Director of Business Development

Mark Joined WideBand Solutions in May of 2007. Mark most recently served as manager of business development for The Worx Group, an integrated marketing agency based in Connecticut. As a key marketing strategist, he directed both account management and creative services for a number of The Worx Groups largest accounts, including manufacturing, communications and publishing companies. Prior to this position, Zenick worked with AV Associates/MCSi East in Storrs, CT, as a vital member of its sales staff. He sold and supported a wide range of audio and video products to large multi-national firms based on the east coast. As a technical sales representative for Gerber Scientific Products, Zenick organized product training, technical support and sales support to regionally-based sales reps, and was credited with helping grow sales across multiple product lines.


Kelly Anton
Office Manager

Kelly joined WideBand Solutions as Office Manager in 2004. Kelly comes to WideBand Solutions with an entrepreneurial background, most recently managing office operations at a regional construction firm. Kelly's insight into business process has been a cornerstone of her success with WideBand Solutions. Kelly's strategy of continuous improvement of our process helps ensure that WideBand Solutions Office Operations and administrative staff are best able to serve our customers.

 

 

 

 


Robert Gotch
Operations Manager - Supply Chain Management, Quality Control, Customer Service

Bob started his manufacturing career with GM as an Industrial Engineer and progressed through Process Development, Product Design, Finance and Operations. He held progressively more responsible technical and managerial positions throughout his 18 years with GM. Prior to leaving GM to join Ingersoll-Rand, he was the Facilities and Services Manager for the Terex Division with $1 billion in sales and manufacturing locations both domestically and overseas. At Ingersoll-Rand he was the Manufacturing Engineering Manager for the Mining Machinery and subsequently the Production Equipment Division over a 17 year period. His achievements included multimillion dollar plant conversions to CNC and completely paperless environments. He also successfully accomplished integration of product line acquisitions, off-shore outsourcing and technology transfers. Prior to joining WideBand Solutions in September, 2006, he held operational and consultancy positions with Staples and Philips Microelectronics Manufacturing. Bob holds a BSME from Penn State and a MS in Management from Akron University.


Paul
Management Consultant

Paul joined WideBand Solutions in the September of 2006 as special consultant to the President. Paul's longevity and his unique historical perspective make him a valued asset at WideBand Solutions. Paul provides cultural insight to older generations of audio engineers and ways to introduce new technology to them and the industry as a whole. Paul is a creature of few words, but history has shown that it is not good to be on the wrong side of a disagreement with Paul, he usually gets what he wants.
